From the main exit at the airport, follow the signs to the N2 in the direction of Cape Town. Continue down the N2 until close to the back of Table Mountain, and driving past the M5, Liesbeeck Parkway and Main Road intersections.
 The N2 then forks, and you should take the left fork(M3 Rhodes Drive) to go towards the Southern Suburbs. Here you travel along the back of Table Mountain on a dual carriageway with a nature reserve on your right. Carry along past the University of Cape Town campus on your right side, down the hill, through two sets of traffic lights. Don't take the left fork at the second set of traffic lights but rather continue up the hill which is Edinburgh Drive. Continue straight past the Claremont and Wynberg turnoffs at the top of the hill and then continue down towards Constantia.
Take the Constantia turnoff where the offramp will do a U-turn that takes you to an intersection. Turn left here, travel under the motorway and find yourself on Main Road. Travel along Main Road, passing Constantia Village Shopping Centre on your left hand side. Continue from here, passing Groot Constantia wine estate on your left and then continue straight for some time up the windy road. At the Constantia Nek circle opposite the restaurant you make a right turn into Rhodes Drive. Just 150 metres from here you will find Villa Lyonesse on your left hand side
